While purchasing, make sure you choose the appropriate book depending on whether you want to purchase the black&white version or the colored version of the concerned book. The colored versions are mentioned explicitly in the book title. Unless otherwise mentioned in the book title, the book is a black&white one. Please note that the colored versions cost a lot more than the black&white versions due to their additional printing cost. Personally, we can state that the black&white version books are also of very good quality and they are excellent value for money.
'Bengal' or more specifically, Nadia is the place where the philosophy of Gaudiya Vaishnavism was first concocted. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu extracted the essential principles from the four bonafide Vaishnava sampradayas and blended them into His teachings. He then propagated His teachings widely throughout India, which are now being disseminated throughout the entire world, benefitting countless souls. He had commanded His disciples to unearth the holy pastime places of Radha and Krishna and propagate their unending glories. He had instructed His disciples to write books in order to firmly establish the authenticity of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. So 'The Gaudiya Treasures of Bengal' is a continuation of this same journey with the objective of distributing the treasure of Gaudiya Vaishnavism and fulfilling the desires of Sri Chaitanya. Hence the word 'Bengal' in 'The Gaudiya Treasures of Bengal' (Title of our website) does not confine itself to a mere geographical place but instead aspires to encompass all people and places of this world who have received the shelter and benefitted from the cooling shades of Lord Chaitanya and Nityananda's causeless mercy - Nitai pada kamala koti chandra sushitala, ye chhayay jagata juraya
Q: Why is all the content on your website in English?
A: The entirety of our website's content is presented in English with a purpose. Our goal is to share ancient knowledge that holds a significance akin to the world's most valuable treasures. We believe that this knowledge should be accessible to a global audience, transcending geographical and cultural boundaries. English, being one of the most widely understood languages worldwide, serves as the ideal medium for us to reach and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
Q: Do you plan to offer content in other languages in the future?
A: While our desire is to make our content accessible to as many people as possible, we currently face limitations as a small team. Translating our content into multiple languages requires significant resources and maintenance. As we grow, we hope to expand our linguistic offerings to ensure a more inclusive experience for our audience.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to balance the dissemination of valuable knowledge with the practical constraints we currently face. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
