phisalni sila fisalni

Phisalni Sila, an ancient sliding rock located near the Kalawata village in Rajasthan, has a rich history dating back five thousand years. It is also spelled as Fisalni Sila. According to local legends, Lord Krishna and His friends used to visit this spot while grazing their cows and enjoy sliding down the rock’s smooth surface. Likewise, Srimati Radharani and her sakhis have been said to visit this place and indulge in sliding down the rock.

To this day, the local villagers continue to use Fisalni Sila as a slide, showcasing the timeless appeal of this ancient tradition. During our visit, we were treated to a thrilling demonstration of how to slide down the rock by the enthusiastic villagers. The peaceful and idyllic surroundings of Phisalni Sila must have been teeming with grazing pastures and lively sounds of cowherd boys and their cattle five thousand years ago.
